  • The Garden Ceremony

    Say your vows beneath a 160-year-old treescape, amongst English roses and manicured hedges. The wisteria arbour forms a natural aisle, with seating, a signing table, and rose petal confetti fresh from the garden

  • The Wedding Package

    A seated dinner in the restored Coach House, long tables beneath old beams, or a long table set under the trees for Outdoor Dining as the evening light softens. Cocktail and canapé style also available.

  • Ceres Homestead is a 160-year-old heritage estate in Central Victoria, in Learmonth, just 20 minutes north-west of Ballarat and around 1 hour 30 minutes from Melbourne. It makes a beautiful destination wedding without the long-haul travel for your guests.

  • Ceres Homestead specialises in boutique weddings of up to 50 guests. For larger celebrations, we work with a trusted team who can help bring your wedding at Ceres to life, so please reach out and we'll point you in the right direction.

  • Every wedding at Ceres is bespoke, so pricing depends on your guest numbers, season and the spaces you'd like to use. Enquire for details and we'll put together a tailored quote.

  • Yes. Many couples say their vows on the Garden Ceremony lawn, move to the courtyard for drinks and celebrate into the evening in the Coach House or with Outdoor Dining among the gardens. You're also welcome to hold just your ceremony here and continue on to a reception elsewhere.

  • The Coach House is our wet weather option, so your ceremony can move indoors without losing any of the romance

  • Our Coach House and Outdoor Dining packages include two nights at Ceres Cottage, our boutique stay in Learmonth. For guests, we recommend The Provincial Ballarat, just a short drive away.

  • We host weddings from [late October to mid December] and [mid February to April], when the gardens are at their best.

  • Absolutely. We'd love to show you around. Site visits are by appointment, so get in touch to arrange a time to walk the gardens and see the spaces in person.
